mining route

Mining 450-475 Obsidium in Mount Hyjal

You must be 425 to mine Obsidium. You can start mining Obsidium at 425 if you wish instead of doing Saronite to 450. The best zone to go for Obsidum Deposits is Mount Hyjal because your other options are under water. By all means if you like to play underwater try those zones out instead, but I found this to be more in line with the traditional way of mining.

Mining 475-525 Elementium in Deepholm

You must be 475 to mine Elementium. The best zone for Elementium is in Deepholm. Uldum and Twilight Highlands have it as well but it is more dense in Deepholm. The zone is literally loaded with Elementium wherever you go. Spiral outward along the edges and make sure you go inside the mine in the northeast.

Leveling from 475-525

Finally, head to Deepholm and collect Cinderbloom and Heartblossom. These herbs are everywhere, you won't even be able to finish the entire route before hitting 525. You need to be level 82 to go to Deepholm. If you're not level 82, you can continue collecting Cinderbloom in Hyjal or Vashj'ir until you are level 500. At level 500, you can go to Uldum and collect Whiptail along the rivers until you're 525.
